Recital

I'm wearing the cute costume Sis. Crockett sewed for me using the ribbon and clothes Mommy got. Grandma made my pretty hair bow. She was the greatest sewer that I have seen and everybody can look at your sewing. Love, TJei.



Now I am going to my dance recital. And it was the greatest show and everybody came and watched us. I had a lot of fun.

(YOU have to overlook the jiggling in the videos...Grandma was juggling Mia, too.)

Kindergarten Program

Along with the musical program, the kindergarteners demonstrated a couple dance routines. Cayden is TJei's partner for the square dance...Wes was just to her right, her "turn to the corner" partner. That made her smile. :)


The little ones also made a Mother's Day gift using one of their old shoes.


The program conclussion...

After the program, Grandma returned to the school again to have lunch with TJei. She shared her carrots with grandma and grandma shared her bean burro (with cheese) with TJei.

He Made an Impression

It was really tough to maintain composure when this little ditty came forth from TJei. :)

Moving to Tucson

This is my best friend Peja and her little brother Anthony. Grandma took us to the park to play.



We took turns on the slide.





Peja got smart and used her jacket to make the ride down faster!


Mia and Anthony watched me and Peja climbing on the ropes.


Mia wasn't sure about rolling down the hill. She just watched the first couple times before giving it a try herself.



I loved it!

Anthony slipped away when the girls started getting cozy for pictures.



Peja and her family are moving to Tucson this weekend. I am going to miss her so much!

Things She Says

Okay, it's way beyond time to have a new label category on here. TJei says some of the cutest...and some of the oddest...things at times. So much of it is gone, just because we didn't make notes at the time. :(

As she walked into my office, "I'm here for my paycheck. Can I have my paycheck now?"

As she slaps her hands together and onto her thighs singing the tune We Will Rock You, her little hand goes into the air and she calls out, "Okay, Grandma, take it from here!"

I ask, "TJei, why do you still have your church dress on?" She replies, "I want to be like you, Grandma."

Back to School

I am so excited to return to school after Christmas break! And, this morning I will be riding to school with the Cox family. It's not a unicorn but exciting all the same.
